NEW DELHI: Anurang Jain, managing director of Endurance Technologies, has bought a sprawling 1,350 square yard bungalow on New Delhi’s Kautilya Marg for ₹130 crore.

Endurance Technologies is among the largest auto component makers in India. According to documents accessed through CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm, the Jain paid ₹8.32 crore stamp duty for the transaction, which ranks among the costliest in New Delhi.

Recently, Info-x Software Technology, through its director Rishi Parti, bought a 16,000 sq ft penthouse at DLF The Camellias in Gurugram for ₹190 crore in one of the costliest apartment transactions in the country.

This year has seen multiple transactions of at least ₹100 crore.

“The demand for prime property in New Delhi remains a priority and with a gap in demand and supply, the buyer is willing to wait. Many other transactions of similarly priced bungalows are on the verge of conclusion,” said Pradeep Prajapati, founder of boutique real estate consultancy firm Wealthvisory Capital.

As many as 58 ultra-luxury homes (priced at ₹40 crore and above) were sold in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad in 2023, a jump of nearly four and a half times compared to the previous year, when 13 high-value transactions took place, as business owners and C-suite professionals continued to invest in properties.
