BigBloc Constructions doubles AAC blocks manufacturing capacity, – Homevior


NEW DELHI: BigBloc Construction, a manufacturer of aerated autoclaved concrete (AAC) blocks, bricks, and panels, has completed phase II expansion of their AAC blocks manufacturing plant located at Wada, Maharashtra.

With this expansion, the company has doubled its manufacturing capacity from 250,000 to 500,000 cubic meters.

Narayan Saboo, chairman of the company said, “Along with this, we have also commissioned installation of 625KW rooftop solar plant at Wada facility.”

Recently, the promoters of the group acquired over 1.34 lakh equity shares of the company from open market. Promoter Group holding in the company as on September 30, 2024 has increased to 72.51% in the company holding 10,26,66,012 equity shares.

The company is investing around Rs 65 crore in development of a manufacturing facility for AAC walls and AAC blocks in Kheda district, Gujarat having 2.5 lakh cubic meter per annum capacity. At full capacity the plant is expected to generate revenue of around Rs 100 crore per annum. The joint venture aims to expand to 5 lakh cubic meters per year in the second phase.
