How Anant Ambani’s love for animals paved the way for Vantara- Homevior

There were many emotional moments at the recent wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. One moment that stole our hearts and the limelight was Anant’s pet, Happy. While Anant and Radhika exchanged wedding vows, his pet, Happy, stood there, adorning a cute sherwani. Happy is an important member of the Ambani clan, but there are many more under Anant’s animal haven.

From a tender age, Anant Ambani has been captivated by the world of animals. In a widely viral reel by @vantarareliancefoundation, Nita Ambani, Anant’s mother, shares a heartwarming anecdote. She recalls how, at the age of two, Anant rescued a group of hens from Crawford market. This early act of kindness and empathy towards animals has been a consistent theme in Anant’s life, shaping his deep love for them.
Driven by his compassion for animals, Anant embarked on a monumental journey to establish Vantara, a revered wildlife preservation project. Today, Vantara stands as a sanctuary for a diverse range of wildlife. It is home to 200 elephants, over 300 large felines, leopards, tigers, lions, jaguars, and 300 herbivores, such as deer. The sanctuary also houses over 1200 reptiles, including crocodiles, snakes, and turtles. Each resident at Vantara is a living testament to Anant’s unwavering vision and compassion towards animals.
As he starts his new journey, we hope his commitment to animal welfare becomes stronger.
