In latest gaffe, Biden calls himself ‘first black woman to serve with black president’- Homevior

During a recent radio interview with Philadelphia’s WURD, President Joe Biden stumbled over his words calling himself America’s ‘first black woman to serve with a black president’, confusing himself with vice president Kamala Harris.
“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman… to serve with a black president. Proud to be involved of the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There’s so much that we can do because, look… we’re the United States of America,” Biden said.
It appears that Biden was attempting to highlight the appointment of Kamala Harris as the first black female vice president of the United States under his presidency. Serving with a black president likely refers to his tenure as vice president under Barack Obama.
Additionally, he mentioned the appointment of Ketanji Brown-Jackson, the first black female justice to the Supreme Court, which occurred under his administration in 2022.
The president’s interview was his first post-debate appearance following a tumultuous week since his contentious debate with Donald Trump, moderated by CNN. Every action taken by Biden is now under scrutiny due to his lackluster performance during the debate.
Recently, during the official White House Fourth of July celebration, President Biden made several gaffes and unusual remarks, at times appearing disoriented. Alongside First Lady Jill Biden, vice president Kamala Harris, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, he greeted the crowd with a surprising “Ho ho ho! Happy Independence Day!”
Despite mounting pressure, President Biden reaffirmed his resolve to remain in the race for the White House, even as he faced increasing criticism and demands for change.
