Speaking at New York Times’ DealBook Summit, Bezos said, “I’m very hopeful — he seems to have a lot of energy around reducing regulation. And my point of view is, if I can help him do that, I’m going to help him, because we do have too much regulation in this country.”
Bezos expressed his belief that the president has “grown” significantly since his first term in office, noting, “From what I’ve observed, he appears calmer, more confident, and more settled this time around.”
Bezos’ remarks indicate a readiness to put past conflicts behind and prioritize common objectives, suggesting a possible shift in the dynamic between the White House and Silicon Valley.
