Spiritual leader Sadhguru recently visited Vantara, the world’s largest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre, in Jamnagar, Gujarat. He lauded the efforts of Anant Ambani and his team in creating a sanctuary unlike any other. Sharing his experience in a video on Instagram, Sadhguru praised Vantara as an ‘’extreme display of human compassion and care,’’ emphasising its unique approach to coexistence between humans and wildlife.
“I have travelled all over the world and been to every kind of zoo, but I must say there isn’t another place like Vantara—a visionary approach to Life,” he shared. He further highlighted the “deep understanding of the inclusive nature of Existence” embodied at Vantara, where human life is intricately connected with all living beings.
Operated by a dedicated team of global experts, Vantara stands as a pioneering initiative for wildlife conservation and rehabilitation, offering medical care and a safe haven for rescued animals. The facility, set within the sprawling Jamnagar greens, is home to a diverse range of species, each receiving specialised care.
Encouraging people to visit and witness the efforts firsthand, Sadhguru extended his “best wishes and blessings” to all involved in running the sanctuary. His endorsement further amplifies Vantara’s mission of creating a sustainable and compassionate future for wildlife.
