PATNA: The court of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) chairman Vivek Kumar Singh has issued warrants of arrest against the directors of three construction companies. The order was passed to recover an amount of about Rs 21 lakh from the builders, which is to be paid to three aggrieved home buyers, an official said.
One Gopal Swaroop Ravi had filed a case for refund of Rs 3.5 lakh. The complainant had earlier lodged a complaint with the authorities, which was settled in March 2023 with an order for the refund of the said amount. When the builder concerned did not honour the order, the complainant filed an execution case in Jan 2024.
In another case, a complaint was filed by one Suresh Narayan Singh.
The authority settled the case in Jan 2024 with an order for refund of Rs 10 lakh to the complainant, and when the builder failed to honour the order, an execution case was filed in June last year.
The third case pertains to a case was filed by one home buyer Dinesh Kumar.
The authority settled his complaint in Aug 2023 for refund of Rs 7.84 lakh, but when the promoter failed to honour the order, an execution case was filed in Sept 2024.
