AHMEDABAD: On Friday, the property tax department of the AMC sealed 257 properties of tax defaulters in the eastern part of the city, including Maninagar and surrounding areas.
Additionally, notices were issued to some defaulters urging them to pay their outstanding taxes promptly.
Notices were also given regarding the disconnection of sewer and water connections for properties of defaulters.
The solid waste management team of the AMC on Friday inspected 109 units in various areas of the city’s northwestern zone, issuing notices to 64 units for public littering.
The Hind Super Market unit on Shilaj Road in Thaltej was sealed. In the city’s southwestern zone, notices were issued to 249 units for public littering in various areas.
