LUCKNOW: During a Jansunvai (public hearing) camp on Thursday, Lucknow Development Authority received a grievance from Bablu Ali, resident of Lakhimpur Kheri, that he lost possession of his plot, D-19, in Transportnagar in the state capital, allotted to him in 2007.
Ali alleged someone impersonated him to get the registry transferred in his name and that despite approaching police and LDA, no action was taken. Divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob assured the issue would be addressed.
Residents of Parsvnath city society on Ayodhya Road raised concern about LDA’s approval for a pathway through their gated community, which has put over 500 families to discomfort.
They warned of escalating protests if the matter wasn’t resolved. Additionally, residents of Parsvnath royal floor city complained about an incomplete housing project, saying they were residing in unfinished flats since 2015, despite a Rs 2.92-crore penalty imposed on the builder.
Out of 40 petitions received, 32 were related to LDA. Nine cases were resolved immediately, while deadlines were set for remaining issues.
